Visual aura,Sensory aura, Basilar-type auraには陽性と陰性の前兆があるが、

Motor aura, Aphasic auraには陰性前兆しかない。


Intriguingly, aphasic and motor auras result in only negative symptoms.

通勤途中で乗り換えるキングス・クロス駅です。
とても空気が澄んでいたので初めて外にでてみました。




ハリーポッターで有名な駅でもあります。
パラリンピックの飾り付けがあり、大きなトランクを抱えた旅行客でにぎわっていました。

子供の睡眠時頭痛

子供の睡眠時頭痛があるのですね。睡眠時頭痛自体、極めてまれですが。

HH(Hypnic headache) is usually affecting the elderly population.

In this study, they reported  three children between 7 and 11 years old with HH features.

Despite these cases do not always fit with criteria for HH,

in the cases the exclusively sleep-related dull headache

attacks, bilateral severe pain and absence of autonomic

symptoms were strongly suggestive of HH diagnosis.

 HH:

  Occurring exclusively during sleep

  Side - either lateralized or bilateral
  Characteristics - dull, no autonomic symptoms
                           - no more than nausea, photophobia, or phonophobia are present.
  Duration - short-lasting, persistence of pain >15 minutes after waking
  Frequency - > 15 times per month  Epidemiology - rare

片頭痛における自律神経症状

Except for forehead/facial sweating, the features of the other CAS differed between patients with migraine and CH:

CAS in migraine tended to

-be bilateral (OR 5.8-23.8 among different CAS),
-be unrestricted to the headache sides (OR 5.0-20.4),
-appear with mild to moderate intensity (OR 1.7-7.7)
-and be inconsistent with headache attacks (OR 2.8-6.7).

CAS were present in half of our migraine patients and the clinical features may help differentiate migraine from CH.
